Here is my little zebra! Isn't she adorable?! She went trick or treating with her cousins Abby and Luke in my parents neighborhood. Abby and Luke were pirates, but Abby decided to call herself a ladybug, after all, she was wearing red and black. They were also adorable! I just love kids in costume. After our candy gathering, we went to Awana to our pumpkin party. This year no costumes were allowed and there was some controversy over having a harvest party or not, so Pam (my sis-in-law, who is the Cubbies director) and I decided to combine Puggles and Cubbies and have a pumpkin party. Pam did a great job organizing it all! We broke the kids up into three groups and they took turns going to three different rooms. One room was our game room. We had six different carnival type games set up (bean bag toss, etc.). At each game they got prizes and candy to put into their bags. This was a big hit with the kids. Rylie loved the fishing game. She wanted to play that one over and over! Then, they went to another room and decorated cookies (with at least an inch of frosting each) and made wreaths out of their hand prints and paint. It was very cute. After that, they went to another room where they heard a story and ate cupcakes and popcorn balls. All in all it was a fun night!
