Pumpkin Carving

Every year, for at least the past ten years, we have had a family tradition of carving pumpkins with Ryan's side of the family. We were really excited that Patty was discharged from the hospital the day before, so she was able to enjoy watching the festivities. It was a special memory!

Party!

We went to a Halloween party at Elisa's the other day. She served us snake sandwiches, blood soup, witches brew punch, deviled egg eyeballs, and spider web dip! The kids got to dress up in their costumes and bob for apples and play other fun games! More costume pictures to come!

I have been perusing all three of these lately trying to get ideas for Christmas presents. I want to try to do some hand made things this year (that don't involve sewing in any form). If anyone has any good ideas, let me know!

Weekly Weigh In

Last week I didn't post because I had gained weight. This week I have lost the weight I gained last week, so I'm back at my original 11 pound loss. I'm disappointed with myself, but now moving forward!

First Cubbie Patch!

Rylie earned her first Cubbie patch tonight! She had to learn five verses, the Cubbie's motto, and complete her book work. I'm very proud of her! (By the way, I really do comb her hair before club! I don't know why she looks so disheveled!)

Princess Abby also earned her patch tonight! I just love her pose!
