Truitt is here!

Our friends, Chris and Angela had their precious baby boy this morning! Truitt James was born at 7:48 am, he was 7lbs, 14 oz and 21 inches! His body temprature was low as well as his blood sugar so he's been under the heat lamp and had to have some Similac. He is stable now. We were able to go see him this evening and give him all our snuggles! Welcome to our church family Truitt and congratulations Chris, Angela, and Keegan!

It's called The Legend of Gid the Kid and the Black Bean Bandits. It is awesome and would make a great Christmas present. You can order it from their web site or Amazon or even find it your local Christian book store. This is the first in a series of books (which will also probably be turned into movies, much to Rylie's delight). The second book in this series is due to come out in January. They have several other projects they are working on, but I don't know if I'm at liberty to share those or not, as they are in talks with various publishers, etc. (that's right, I'm on the inside!) As well as being great authors/illustrators, they are also friends, brothers in Christ, and Dad's to three (soon to be four) of Rylie's good friends, and husband's to two of my friends!
